HOT !!!!

A few weekends ago it was in the 90's. So we decided to have some fun outside. We found a old slide and decided to wash it off. Edison took it a pone himself to get wet and enjoy the water.

We went to Griffith Observatory with Byran's parents last week. There is a button that Edison loves to push. It is of the Elements Table, you push a different button and it shows you different elements.

SpongeBob SquarePants

There are two things Edison will stop screaming for, SpongeBob SquarePants theme song and the Dr Who theme song. When we shot this video he was screaming and would not even let us hold him. As soon as he heard the sounds of the ocean he stopped. He dose not watch the whole show just the song. What has this world come to that my son would rather watch a song on TV then let me hold him.

I love this video of Edison. He is really starting to grow up. He loves to show of his mussels.

I just want to tell my dad Happy Birthday. I hope that he has a great day and I can't wait to see him. We love you dad.

Silly Uncle

I have so many fun videos and pictures from Utah. I have to start with this. My brother Scott gave Edison a sucker and this is what happened. I think it is funny, so I had to share.

Time to play

Edison has this game he likes to play with me. I will give him a toy and he drops it. When I hand it back to him he drops it again. He thinks this is so funny. He is really starting to understand how to play.

Edison and I are going to Utah next week and I know both my parents and Byran's parents are going to have a fun time playing with him. I can't wait to see all the people who are in my parents ward. It is going to be great.

Oh how I miss the D.I.

When we went to Utah, last May, we picked up a few toys at the D.I. I bought some interlocking foam 'tiles' that have numbers and letters on them.

We got them out a few days ago to see if Edison would play with them. He pulls them apart and makes a big mess. Byran is having fun with them too. He is making cubes for Edison to play with.

I wish we had a D.I. close and as nice as the ones in Utah. We do have some Salvation Armys, but they are more expensive and their stuff is not as nice.

Every time we go back to Utah we have to visit the D.I. Byran will bring home $20 worth of odd stuff, even if he doesn't need it, and tells me he just has to have it. I just laugh at him and tell him that we don't need anything else. Someday he will have to learn that he has to pass up a 'good deal'.

Edison is trying to crawl, but all he can do right now is scoot backwards.

Swimming 101

It was a nice day on Saturday. Not to hot and not to cold. So what better thing to do then swim. We have a pool at our apartment and we waited a little to late in the year to use it. It is starting to cool down at night and that is the only time we can all go swimming together. Edison loves the water, you would think that he would scream. He hits the water and kicks his feet. This is one reason I love to be a parent. It makes up for all those long nights without sleep.

Oh, how cute.

We just thought that this was so cute. I love it when Edison finds something new.

Edison Loves Carrots!

As Edison starts to eat solids he is also discovering that his lips can make funny noises. As soon as food goes in he makes sure that it comes right back out. I should where a plastic shield just to feed him.
